Withdrawn Taihei handles

Hello - looking for a:

- Taihei ziricote or bird's eye maple handle with 140-146mm x 17mm x 23mm dimensions (advertised as 270mm - 300mm yanagiba handles on Hitohira website but used on the premium gyutos); and / or

- Taihei ebony handle for a petty (~125mm x 16mm x 20mm).

Preferably looking in Australia or Asia to keep shipping low.

Thanks. Had a look on the weekend - didn’t have those ones. Neither does the hitohira website. Other vendors have astronomical mark ups / VAT (kitchin) or shipping (carbon, strata etc.).

To be honest, 90-% of the reason for this post is because I can’t seem to get a nice and sufficiently large piece of ziricote to get a custom made from. I’ve found some eye maple and ebony though…
