Received this knife from ProTooling this afternoon (see link below). Used it to cut one big sweet potato and one jumbo carrot.

I tested 12 knives against this Kyuzo (including a bunch of knives from very popular makers - Kamon, Yanick, Takada, etc) for the following two cuts:
1. Big sweet potato around 4 inch by 7 inch in size. Stand the sweet potato up on the board and a single cut to split the sweet potato in half.
2. 3 inch thick jumbo carrot. A single cut right in the middle.
For these 2 particular cuts, I would say this Kyuzo won against all other knives. Since this is not a review, I won't go into the details about this knife's performance. I have tried most of the Sakai lasers on the market today and I would just say this is the ultimate Sakai laser in terms of pure cutting performance.
If you wonder why I am selling a such awesome knife right after receiving it, I am in this hobby to explore and try different knives. This is my third Kyuzo. I bought it specifically to do what I did this afternoon (i.e., put it against my best knives for the 2 cuts I described above).
This is virtually BNIB. Asking $550 including PayPal fee and CONUS shipping. Will cover the first $15 for international.
If you are looking for a used one that's cheaper than the one that I am selling here, get this one from @ashy2classy -
