Soft Iron over blue 2

Hello everyone,

I received this from the original owner who used it a bit and I haven’t put much use on it myself. But overall the blade is in great shape.

The balance on this is great, feels like it wants to be put to work. About 4.25mm out the handle down to just over 1mm around 10mm from the tip. The thicker and wide tang gives the pinch grip a very good solid feel. The tapered handle is always lovely. Has gradual distal taper but not too thin at the tip. Not too thick where it wedges constantly but a good middle ground. I love Rob’s blue 2 as the edge is quite keen and super easy to get sharp. Really cool detail in the soft iron as well.

Trades would be for a Milan, Yanick, or The Nine preferably under 235mm would work. Looking for a good mid-size/compact knife from them. Or a Kamon of any size.

Opening this to other makers. Most westerns are cool with me. Still not sure anything in the j-knife realm would entice.

Being a little indecisive on this one. Going to open it up to partial trades now from other western makers.
