Hello, I am selling this old Nigara Santoku Knife made by (7th generation) Toshitoshi Yoshizawa (The father of the current generation).

Blade condition: Unused & Not sharpened
Uraoshi: Sharpened for once.

Brand: Nigara (二唐刃物 )
Steel: White 2
Iron: Nami Tetsu/Wrought Iron (clearly shown on the blade)

According to Nigara, they said they used pre-Meiji steel nails and chains as the base metal for the blade, thus creating the unique and lively ripples-liked pattern on the blade.
