Hey all!

Shot in the dark. Always wanted to try a shihan, always loved aeb-l, stars have never aligned for me.

Had a lead on a 270 jiro one day and it never came to fruition.

Totally different knives but both are high on my list. Would be stoked if either broke free from a generous owners drawer/hoarding pile. Can be beat up and used well.

Have some fun trades possibly depending on what you’re into.

Based on your timing, I think you likely didn't snag the 260mm gyuto he posted, but it was up for like an hour. Not aeb-l, but still an option. Maybe keep an eye on his social media as he does seem to be making more knives again

oooo don't tempt me with a good rectangle. Thanks much for letting me know! I have a looooot of rectangles (and a lot of 270's) but what I don't have is a 270 full stainless workhorse (I guess a devin itk is a workhorse in spirit and practice but not in grind.)
 
Boy that looks like a fun one. Never seen it before, haven't seen a stainless kamon offering yet. But shihan's forged aeb-l does the things to me, especially the kurouchi.
