In a bit of a bind boys and girls. Didn't feel right canceling a transaction with one of our own. And I am quite keen on my new 240 yorokobi. (Thanks again, Niko)
I'm in desperate need of funds to get a rather painful tooth yanked.
So I'm letting a few go cheap in hopes of getting this taken care of quick.
First up: hatsukokoro b2 rainbow damascus 210mm gyuto w/ cktg saya
Used, patinad, not been sharpened.
Bought for $279 w/out saya
Selling for $220 with saya (with pin!)
[SOLD] - Nigara homono 120mm tsuchime migaki sg2 kiritsuke petty. Used, never sharpened, still an ABSOLUTE razor. Does have some oxidation staining around the Kanji, not rust, seems cosmetic. Have original box, it's a little rough.
Bought for $239
Selling for $ 140
Hatsukokoro blue2 210mm kiritsuke yoake. Used, etched, patinad, sharpened, used some more. In fantastic condition other than visually. Some ugly brown patina near Machi, and Machi is a little funky.
Purchased for $369

[SOLD] - Nordquist Designs #2/11 bastogne series nakiri. Used, patinad a Lil, sharpened (was admittedly very unhappy with original edge.) Missing one of the little leather tassles from the leather wrap it came in, but it's just simple craft leather. If you want food release, this is your knife. I forget what I originally paid, and the website price is in CAD. It was something like $440usd.
Selling for $300.
Hatsukokoro Shirasagi 165mm blue2 bunka/deba hybrid. Sharpened by myojin. Badass knife. Very faint patina on back (left) side. Never sharpened. Used twice. Wish I broke down more whole fish.

Buy any 3 and I'll throw in a large Nonohone stropping rod.
