Good morning, KKF!
I began acquiring knives with the intention of owning at most an excellent 6-8 of them. I'm now at a point where I know which makers' work I've really gelled with and the types of knives i enjoy using most.
As I wrap up my knife journey for awhile and continue reducing inventory, I'd like to finish rounding off that final 6-8 with a relatively newer Bazes, 220mm+ and/or Bidinger MagnaCut
I'm willing to pay quite a bit and/or trade with such toys as a Milan Totsumen (third iteration), ~200mm Bidinger with probably the most impressive distal taper I've ever seen and the most effortless pure-cutting knife I've ever owned, even compared to my other Bidinger (couple screenshots attached), a few outstanding Halcyons (1, 2, 3—3 is the most-recent Dammy Halcyon Joe made, which he told me is easily some of his best work, to the extent that it's one of the very few pieces he recently included in the exposé he just did—he is supposed to be shipping me that knife today) and a full-tang one that I bought from him, which I can send photos of for anyone with serious inquiries (it is one of his workhorse grinds).
What I'm also willing to do is offer any one of those knives, excluding the most-recent Halcyon Forge dammy, at an incredibly reduced price to you if you are able to directly and conclusively facilitate my acquisition of what I'm looking for: if you're majorly responsible for getting me in contact with someone with the knives I want or are directly and conclusively majorly responsible with their decision to allow me to buy and/or trade with them for what I want, you can pick one of the knives I mentioned above (again, excluding the dammy Halcyon) and I will sell it to you for a significantly reduced price than they'd be otherwise listed for—as in, like less than half of what they'd sell for. They're all in outstanding condition (the Milan and HF CruForge mono [smoothest cutting WH I've ever owned] are basically brand-new), many neither stropped nor sharpened and of those sharpened, having been so but once.
Thank you for your help, happy Friday and have a nice weekend!
