Technically brand new. I quickly grabbed the mirrored version of Yoshikazu Tanaka's AS 240mm my first mirrored knife. I just received it today and decided to sell for a few reasons. 1. The mirror is really annoying for me, its definitely not my cup of tea. 2. I have a custom that is being made early than expected, so I'll need a fund to replenish that. Mind you the knife is THINNNNN behind edge and yet sturdy enough to handle rough tasks. I have used it on veggies today, I should've used it to cut meat to give it a nice patinas, it patinas quickly from veggies tho, perks of mirrored blade...

Now as stated modified; I used Tosho Stone Powder on the knife to make the hazy finish, assuming to make it less sticky when cutting, it helps a bit, just not by much. So instead of polishing it any further, and let the buyer polish it into their own likings. The knife itself is already polished, no need to do "sanding" work. It should be an easy projects for others, especially if they want to polish to make bandings. I believe all you'd need is Flitz to remove the hazy finish and do anything you like with it. I also touched up this knife at Shapton Glass 2k.

I paid $750USD and I am willingly to let this go for $600USD PayPal and Ship included. Hope this interests you!

Man it's not fair you posted this so quickly, I just bought one of the KU ones from Zahocho, wish I had this one!
I almost grabbed that one, but went with the mirror instead. I preferred rustic looks over mirror.

If you polished/rounded your Ku knife, spine and choil, it'd be the perfect knife.

Choil comparison left is Yoshikazu AS and right is Ginsan Izo
