I purchased this back in Jan/Feb 2012 from Sur La Table in my early knife days. It hasn't seen much use in the past 5 years though, as I've come to like other knife shapes. There is a nice patina on it from the use over the years and was recently sharpened on waterstones, and I keep the handle waxed.
The original v1.0 wooden handles on these tend to expand/shrink, so the wooden handle is very very slightly smaller than the tang, which I tried to capture in the photo. Not really noticeable when holding it normally.
