Here's a photo from dead on straight. The center of the handle is aligned parallel to the spine, but since it tapers, the top of the heel is a bit higher and the bottom of the heel is a bit lower.

I got my Simon with a simple satin finish. Just wanted to show how good his bevels are even when they are not fully stone polished. A few min on a worn atoma 120. I’ve been really enjoying this knife

Can anyone identify this parer? Shuttled between knife drawers, largely unloved, for around twenty years. Possibly a wedding present. I used an image translator app on the character on the base of the handle. Once it said “Younger Brother,” the second time “Emperor.” Just curious.
