Awesome! Keep an eye out at homebutcher.com. They occasionally stock those and have had some really good deals on them. Thanks for the Bernal heads up. I ordered the only thing I think I wont get in trouble for. A lil Kumokage 80mm parer I've been curious about for a while that after tax and discounts ended up being only $95. And since I am nearby its an excuse to go into the city tomorrow to pick it up and gawk at some fancier knives for a bit while I am there. What I REALLY wanted was a Yoshikane SKD or or a Myojin SG2 240 ...but that's gonna have to wait a bit if I want to stay married...besides, both those things are cheaper at K&S despite the Bernal sale.

Way above normal prices thoughSeems like most of you guys prefer the fancy stuff but in case any lower stakes players are lurking, Tetogi and AI&OM have some Hitohira branded Takamuras in stock, notably the 210mm gyuto which is generally out of stock across the board.

Agreed...but sometimes paying a premium is all you gotWay above normal prices though
Thanks for the heads up on this. Picked up a vintage carving fork that I think is pretty beautiful, as well as a few chef’s presses.Bernal Cutlery F**k Yeah Friday 20% off sale. Please go buy the cool stuff, so I can't spend more money!

This happens a lot but it’s so weird to me: why do they take on oem work when their own stuff is sold out all the time and they’re way behind on orders. The whole industry is way too clubby.Seems like most of you guys prefer the fancy stuff but in case any lower stakes players are lurking, Tetogi and AI&OM have some Hitohira branded Takamuras in stock, notably the 210mm gyuto which is generally out of stock across the board.

Don't, just don't!The question is how it does on a pineapple pizza...
It really depends on the pineapple I think - slices, big chucks, small chucks, etc. sauce might also make a difference. Red sauce, white sauce or no sauce? The question is how it does on a pineapple pizza...
