Thanks! I was toying with using a piece of stabilized black ash burl for the bolster, but I really liked the way the Redwood looked. I had some Mosaic pins ready to go, but I just wanted the solid piece of Redwood; couldn't bear to break it up with pins or a bolster!

The nakiri looks great. It's my favorite knife shape. love the kurouchi, and the handle is a great fit for the blade.
 
Busy month Welshstar? Even with everything I've been getting, I'm feeling a little jealous here. Great looking knives and handles!!
