Don't know if you have already cleared out the black locust or not. I have honeybees. Here in Tennessee, black locust is a major contributor for honey. If not the largest honey contributor. Maybe leave the locust and get a couple beehives.
Older Pyrex and from what I understand European Pyrex are made from borosilicate glass. The newer stuff is soda lime glass. The newer stuff isn't even the same color glass.
