    thanks for advice! by the way I watched your videos. very helpful. this is only my personal observation. regarding single bevel knives it is almost impossible to flatten wide bevel knife like usuba because you will need to sacrifice a lot of material and probably make the edge very thin. but...

    today I wanted to make it better but all I did is scratches all over the place so had to go step back on hazuya and jizuya. after that mixed nugui a bit different than yesterday and got different results.

    takobiki is 360mm. this is actually first traditional sword polish method I did. I am new to this sport. so far I polished and flattened 6 honyaki knives and few kasumi so pretty much I am novice. thanks.

    since I can't post in buy/sell i will just mention it here. I am looking for a genkai yanagi, sakimaru or yanagi-kiritsuke 330-360 mm with wavy hamon. used also good. thanks

    thanks benny and Geoff. honyaki is very hard therefore much difficult to shape and grind. but I don't use machines, all is handwork.

    polishing old kama usuba 240 honyaki with natural stones. I used some synthetics in the beggining when needed to remove more material off. I reset shinogi line and flattened everything above and under it. knife had a mirror polish but I like more this fingerstones polish. anyway, now it is easy...
