Hi! New to selling here but not new to knives. Been lurking on the board since 2014 and have learned a great deal from the wisdom of the collective.
First up: Masamoto Sohonten Knives and Stones 240mm gyuto
Purchased: A few months back from K+S Australia for 490+shipping (received 70$...
jealous since my post count isn't high enough to post a WTB-- but good for you! what did you find if you don't mind me asking? looking for a 240 gyuto myself after getting a 150 petty and falling in love with it.
my nakiri used to be my go-to.... now that my skills and my collection have grown, as a home chef, I find myself reaching for my 210 gyutos much more frequently- the shig is still a pleasure to play with, though.... +1 for nakiri.
Been lurking for a few months, have purchased an unfortunate amount of knives for my wallet-- even 2 on the forums. Glad to be here and hoping to learn a great deal more about using and sharpening japanese knives!
