$90 (edit: I finally put in the effort to refinish the knife to sell, but it's too nice to sell... Ugh keeping it for now. Withdrawn)
288g
51mm tall
9.5mm at handle
7mm halfway
4.5mm shinogi at tip
Feels like tf mab 1... Quite close. . . Perhaps a bit sharper, but kind of hard to tell since I don't have a maboroshi on hand. I think this one bites into hair easier though. At least I feel that way about it. Mostly straight. Relatively bigger bend at heel, where the heel bends toward the omote. Ura sharpening is doable though. Chip on blade about 0.5mm high. Handle ferrule metal band is split, but is still together at one part. Ura has pitting, and tang had rust I removed. Handle still fits tight on blade with no wobble. Blade thinned and removed chips from the state when I got it.. . Chips were 1mm tall to 1.5mm. Refinished the bevel on stones then uchi fingerstones. Iron is medium softness... Not super hard or soft, medium.
The kanji is supposed to the mark of a swordsmith family who runs a knife shop now. They look like they had commissioned some regular Sakai style stuff too, but this one has a unique grind finish and inconsistencies that make me think it's by the family themselves.
