Trying to break the cycle a little bit and focus on knives that were actually made for me. Customs also require $$ so there’s that as well. I’ve always been very quick to just buy-to-try but I’m trying to slow that down a bit as well. It was fun to try the Yanick but I don’t see a reason to keep a knife when I recently (and very luckily) found a suitable replacement. Pretty much the same reason it was sold to me. Hopefully it can get to someone who will cherish it. The Nine has been a very durable and fun companion. More of a 1-and-done type knife.

Yanick

Specs match what CKC posted.

Some rather minimal use but definitely shows signs. Don’t think its been sharpened yet, not sure you’d need to for a while.

Yanick Puig Grenadille Gyuto 240mm

Nine

235x56mm, 229g
Blue 2 core, soft iron clad
Bog oak handle

Seen a lot of use. Such a good daily driver and a worry free knife. Best profile IMO, I’ve got a few customs coming up that will be copying this profile. Has very light scratches on it mainly from coarse sponges. Nothing crazy but know what you are getting.

Yanick is $1320 shipped and Nine is $850 shipped. I’ll probably roll with a $$ sale on these but wouldn’t mind hearing some trade options. Maybe a newer Kamon or a cheaper western. I’ll give it a day or so before deciding. US only please.

PM with any questions or more pics, try to not clog up the thread. Thanks.

Opening this up to cheaper (but still cute) knives plus $$ for the Yanick. Will let this go until tomorrow.
