Hey all,

I'm favoring shorter knives these days, so I'd like to pick up a plain-ish honyaki in this size range. Might go up to 240 but no longer for sure. Main thing I care about is I don't really favor the needle thin tips or ultra thin grinds for this kind of knife.

Willing to look at most anything under 1k but will prefer more plain, with some usage. Especially interested in Isas 26C3 stuff but I mostly want a knife to use.

Def doesnt have to be Isas but this is the neighborhood re size/profile: Isasmedjan | Gyuto 230mm Honyaki 26c3 Bog Oak, Carbon & German Silver Handle | Modern Cooking

Anyway if you have something interesting please shoot me a DM.

I’m not sure if he still has it but @DrD23 has my HF old honyaki. 227x50, 216g, 26c3. Such a smooth cutter.

I've had some interesting leads but nothing super solidified yet.

Would definitely also be open to a user Ikeda/Nakagawa/Togashi/etc too if it's more towards middleweight

I am still on the lookout. Maybe someone wants some cash for the 4th of July sales that will invariably pop up?
