There's a tiny, purely cosmetic scratch from grinding on the spine of the knife near the makers mark. The grind was another experiment the left side is a full hollow grind, makes an incredibly fine edge and it cuts very well with good food release, there is a little sticking on the back side which can cause slight friction on withdrawing the knife from the cut but it still is an very good performer, especially would be great for very fine cutting tasks but it just fine for general prep.
