Sold via another platform for 300€ without the saya.

Payment: PayPal Goods and Services

Location: Germany

Shipping To: Countries within the EU, shipping outside the EU negotiable

Weight: 174g

Edge Length: 244mm measured from heel to tip

Height at the Heel: 50mm

Construction: undisclosed semi-stainless core (undisclosed by the knifemakers / suppliers, not me) with stainless cladding.

Pictures: the knife is in excellent condition, as illustrated in the pictures at the bottom of this post.

Description: I am looking to sell my 240mm Konosuke YS-M gyuto in addition to the matching saya. I simply have too many knives and have made an agreement with myself that I will only buy a new knife after selling an existing knife. This truly is a great cutter, but it doesn't see the use it deserves with me currently.

I bought the knife in 2021 and it has been used infrequently in my knife rotation as a home cook since then. It has only been fully sharpened once with a Shapton 1k, Naniwa 3k and Arashiyama 6K with occasional touch-ups on the Arashiyama.

Shipping within the EU via DHL and the knife will be shipped in the original box along with the matching saya and saya pin.

I am also a bit confused as to why an 11 month old post that is clearly marked with a big red sold banner is getting commented on, but to remove all ambiguity, the knife has been sold.
I was under the assumption that Sternberg was the author of the thread and wrote that it is "still for sale" :D
