Interested in picking up a big gyuto in the 270-300mm range. Not too fussed about condition. (That recent TF is tempting but want to see what else is about).

Budget is pretty flexible.

Looking for a carbon knife. Ideally mono or iron clad however stainless clad san mai also ok.

Prefer western/yo handle over wa but not set on this for the right knife.

Located in Aus so local is best but willing to pay for international shipping.

I have a Kaeru 270mm water-quenched Honyaki in Aogami 2. >See here (link)<
It's used, so the value would reflect that. I absolutely love it, but I'm always interested in trying new blades so would be happy to see in new hands.
It's thin, light and nimble for a big blade - so an easy transition for a 240 user.
There's been a few sales here in KKF recently from memory..? Happy discuss an offer in PM if u want. Also welcome to inspect & try if you are local!
