Hello All,

These were made as part of a larger batch by myself earlier this week. They're all unfigured dark walnut, the have been sanded to 320 grit, given 2 coats of oil, and buffed. All of them are bored to 9.7mm (3/8"). The wood is a sort of milk chocolate brown when not in direct sunlight.

Left to right in the picture below:

A: 134mm long, 19mm X 21mm at the top, 22.5x25mm at the bottom

B: 135mm long, 19mm X 21mm top , 23mm X 25mm bottom

C: 151mm long, 18.5mm X 21.5mm top, 23mm X 24mm bottom.

I'm asking $25.50 U.S each + shipping, which should be about 10$ U.S to most places in North America. I'll gladly combine shipping if 2 or all 3 are purchased together, or if purchased in conjunction with a knife.

I'll have more handles up tomorrow....hopefully. I have some figured maple, red oak and cherry coming next.

Have a good day everyone.

I am not very familiar with knife handle sizing. What knife lengths would you recommend for these handles?

Personally I think they'd be fine on anything not intended for in-hand work or a super long WH type suji or gyuto. Also, walnut is a fairly light wood, so if used as a replacement on a blade which previously had something dense, like an ebony handle the POB would shift up the blade a bit. So it's probably not an ideal replacement for a handle like that.

I'd say anything from a 170+ petty, to a lighter 270mm gyuto should probably be ok.
