1428g Aizu + 36g Aizu Nagura

Stone is finer than the other 6 aizu I have tried and has been my go-to finisher for kitchen ready edges for the past couple years. Works much faster with the baby aizu slurry. The Aizu nagura is hard, and useful for kicking up base stone slurry without introducing stray diamond particles (as one might get from raising slurry with an atoma).

$430 shipped CONUS
Int'l OK, will cover first USD15

How thirsty have all your different Aizu stones been? The one I own really sucks up water quickly.

Thirsty relative to harder suita sure, but it's not as thirsty as say aoto. In general I don't find myself ever worrying about the water, but just in case these days I will run it under sink water for 30 seconds.
