I'm offering this line knife I made at a heavily reduced price because it is a less popular size and because I don't love the aesthetics of how the core is exposed. That said, this knife will be an absolute killer in the kitchen.

The kitaeji cladding I forged from vintage wrought iron, folded with thin layers of 1084 carbon steel. The handle is roasted quilted maple.

The core steel is VToku2 tungsten steel. Made by Takefu Special Steel Co. in Fukui Prefecture, VToku2 is very similar in composition to Hitachi blue #2. My subjective experience is that VToku2 has slightly better toughness and edge stability. I LOVE this steel.
