SOLD Blonde Buffalo Horn Handle Blanks; Tshushima Natural Stone

Up for sale are 4 Buffalo horn handle blanks with lots of blonde coloring. They are about 4” long and 30mm in diameter. (SOLD)

Also for sale is a larger Tsushima Nagura natural stone. Very hard, no inclusions, laquer on all sides and bottom. Measures 8 3/8” long, 3 1/4” wide, 2” thick, and weighs 2420 grams. Barely seen any use and originally purchased from JNS. (SOLD)

Great price on the Tsushima stone. I think it's an underrated stone around here. they're usually good size and super clean. Hard to make a slurry on its own but a diamond plate really helps it come alive. Finish is not quite as fine as a typical aizu.

I had a great result using it with a Kochi V2 gyuto. It's not fast, but it left a nice edge, with enough bite to slice tomatoes easily.
