Hey KKF,

Just finished up this project knife that I would like to sell. Purchased this Catcheside directly from Will about 2 months ago. What caught my eye about this knife is that it has higher bevels than what we have seen from him the last few years and the neck is more of a traditional size.

The Ku finish is smooth but has some blemishes/scratches that I will highlight including some small orangish spots on the iron. These spots are completely stable and will not pit or grow. Instead of nuking the Ku finish I gave the knife a hot soak in super concentrated green tea which should convert those spots to ferric tannate.

The bevels have been redone with some thinning and evening out. It now has a zero grind and will be a pleasure to polish in the future. I used diamond stones to set the bevels and finished the kasumi with a shobu suita. The edge has a nice toothy finish from a natsuya.

Asking $500 shipped conus.
