New at the forum and i am a knifemaker from the the Netherlands.
Signed up here to learn more and to get feed back on my knives.

My last knife was made of cu-mai from takefu steel.
First time working with that and its really great to work with. Has to give it a forged texture to give some movement in the layers aswell since its all straight laminated from the factory.

170mm blade length and 3.2mm spine thickness and subtile s-grind.
Handle made of a carbon fiber bolstes, copper spacer and stabilized canaito wood.

Very sleek looking knives! I like the grind on the last one!

Did I hear passaround?? 😂🤫

And some new work:

Small chefs knife

This on has a Apex ultra core with a 200 layer Wilder Damast cladding consisting of 1.2842 & 15n20 steel and a nickel layer shim.

The apex ultra core has a hardness of 65-66hrc.

The steel is made by oxe tools who did a real nice job on that.

Handle is made of some nice x-cut bug oak that was stabilized.
Two new silver liners with a black g10liner in the middle.

Some specs:

320mm total length

195mm blade length

54mm heel height

2,9mm spine at the bolster tapered to 1mm at 10mm from the tip.

Thnx tor looking and curious to see what you guys think of this one.

Wrought iron clad bunka

The handle on this one turned out crazy and in real life even more beautifull.

I now understand why rosewood is one of the best woods out there. The figure and tight curl with the rainbow colors is amazing.

The handle i combined with 2 new silver liners and a copper dragon strike liner.

Also i refined the handle style a bit further from last knives. Only this more rounded wich is way more comfortable.

The knife is made out of a wrought clad over 1.2442 tungsten steel core.

This ended up in a lightweight laser bunka and lasersharp.
Here some dimensions:

Total length: 295mm
Blade length: 160mm
Blade height: 49mm
Spine thickness: 2,8mm tapered to 0.8 10mmm from the tip
Total weight: 125 grams

New year new knives!

This is a custom made set of three bread knives made for @kipvanhetvuur.nl

They already have one of my breadknives in use for months and after good feedback i made some changes to the design.
More upwards handle for more hand clearance.
Robust handle material since the first knife is used for 6 days a week 8hrs a day.
Was first time working with @fatcarbon but its a pleasure to work with. These will hold up way better then wooden handles for the intensive use they will get.

Instead of a flat cutting edge i made a curved edge wich will have a better cutting performance.
The serrations and thin edge on the old knife still performs as new so did the same on the new knifes.

Overall length of the blade is 380mm with a cutting edge of 250mm.
Made out of 3mm thick AEB-L stainless steel with a hardness of around 58-59 hrc.
