I had a guy in USA forge the billet of steel with carbon 1095 and stainless steel Then i had Dalman make this gyuto for me. The billet was thick witch you can tell in the start of The spine so alot of grinding was done
. Thick spine and thin edge. Handel is made in a wood i cant remember but its not curly koa. Something that looks like it (update Tazmanian blackwood ). And a musk ox horn spacer. Hardness around 62. 175mm cutting edge.
Asking 1200$ plus shipping 35$ for this one.
