I had one of these that I sold as it was bigger than I liked. While Robin is best known for his s-grinds, the grind on the one I had was a good as any other convex I've ever tried. If you're thinking about this, it should be a fantastic cutter.

GLWS.
Thanks. I actually really like this blade. It's just that I've decided to stick with semi-stainless and stainless steel for my knives. When I'm cooking, I don't always think about wiping down my blades. Haha

Have to patiently wait for one of Robin's stainless s-grinds.

I purchased one of these from BST that I believe came from the same batch and is just a bit shorter lengthwise. It's probably my favorite Dalman to date. GLWS
I believe mine came from the same (the most recent one?) batch too. Mine is 247x60. I wasn’t sure how I’d like such a tall knife (this curiosity was partly why I got it), but the more I use it, the more I find it actually surprisingly agile. I’ve got shorter (length and height) knives that feel more unwieldy. And I actually prefer this collab knife to my Birgersson. 🙈

I like just about everything of this blade. Great grinding, tough steel. If it were semi-stainless/stainless, then it wouldn't go anywhere.

IMHO these are some of the coolest knifes. Both are makers who cloab on these are masters in thier own right and make really good knifes. To have Bijorn forge/heat treat and Robin grind and finish is really cool and the colab is something you don't see a lot of. I own one of these already and if this guy was 20mm shorter i would have snatched it up a month ago. GLWS
