Hi everyone.

I searched but could not find anyone who has asked this.

I am looking for a decent endgrain board here in Oz, preferably Vic.

I have been using a $25 Aldi endgrain board for the last several years. I don’t know what species it is but has been great. Near maintenance free and has a very soft feel when contacted with an edge. If I ever see them their again I will gladly grab a couple.
When I do dishes on a warm nights I often dry things on the patio table was high is normally great except when you fall asleep on the couch and cop 30mm of rain overnight.... it’s now baby warped and cracked and generally unusable.

I purchased an Acacia board on the weekend and I really don’t like it. It feels like I am hitting glass when I contact it. Basic plastic boards feel better.

The above is a long winded preamble to ask for a local source of boards. Ideally I am looking for something about 350mm by 500mm. Any ideas?

Can highly recommend Choppa Block
Visit their website. You can see items for sale or order one custom built. Peter is very helpful via email or phone.
Love my custom Tasmanian Blackwood board.

Edit: They're not in Victoria but ship Australia wide from Adelaide.
