Hello folks,

I am letting go of a lot of my priced stuff to fund other things. Here is a custom made kiridashi by a British smith. Made from wrought iron, 26c3 core.
It features tremendously beautiful detail in the iron that can be polished out in both the handle and the edge. The carbon steel core takes a razor sharp edge (I mean that literally, I do straight razor restorations). I used it to test all my stones. Just check out some pictures I took :)

200€ shipped in EU, ask for fair and transparent shipping options world-wide

By adding high carbon steel and forge welding together has born blade for this beautiful knife.
Every layer of this knife is fascinating piece of living history visible on every blade with characteric and unique pattern created during multiple folding and forge welding of iron.

Beautiful handmade Nimai kiridashi Forge weld from Wrought iron cladding and 26c3 Sweden super clear carbon steel edge.

Hand polished edge with natural stones to reach Kasumi, foggy contrast between soft iron and carbon steel.
Urasuki on flat side to easy blade maintenance.

Length: 20 cm
Edge: 4.5 cm
Right Hand R/H

IMPRTANT this kiridashi is NOT made from pre-laminated steel. This knife isn`t mass production item its a piece of art made handmade by me.

Please note! This is a carbon steel knife and therefore not stainless. Unless dried after dishing it will rust, so you must use some oil to preserve it. Knife is very sharp.
