An 8” Sabatier style slicer carver in A2 steel and ironwood.
I don’t like to chase too many different steels I do like to experiment with new ones occasionally and learn how to work with them. This is my first time working with A2 high carbon tool steel. It has good workability and I’m very pleased with the sharpened edge. The spine stock is .07 and the blade has some flex to it.
