I'm selling my Gesshin Ittetsu white #2 180mm single-bevel petty. This is a great little knife, lot's of fun to use and play around with, although I'm selling it because I've been wanting something similar but a little longer and in stainless. The fit and finish on the knife is excellent, although note that there are some visible cosmetic scratches along the blade, which you can see in the attached pictures. There's also some minor pitting close to the handle (again, should be visible in the pictures).

I'm the original owner of the knife, and I've used it in a home environment for the last few years, mostly on raw meat. Aside from the initial opening up they did at JKI, it hasn't been sharpened. It comes with its original ho wood saya; note that while the pin is missing, it fights as tightly as a friction-fit saya, so it's not really an issue. This retails for $445, and I'm selling it for $330 315 USD, including shipping within the US. I'm happy to ship internationally if we split shipping fees.

I've misplaced my calipers, so I'm just going to list the height, length and thickness specs provided by JKI:

Spine thickness: ~3.51mm at handle, tapering down into a very thin tip
Height: ~33mm at heel
Edge length: ~184mm
Weight: 113 grams
Handle: Octagonal ho wood with buffalo horn ferrule
Steel: Carbon clad white #2

I'm selling a few other knives right now as well, and if you buy 2 or more, I'll knock off $25 for each knife bundled.

Of course, let me know if you have any questions, or would like to see additional pictures.

I am really surprised it is still here. I used to have one of these a few years back. One of the knives I should have kept. The tip was thin enough to dice smaller onions without much steering. It was great for lighter raw meat tasks. If I were in a position to get one, I would jump on it in a heartbeat.

I used to own one of these, too. I, too, regret that I sold it. Such a fun and beautiful knife! Someone's gonna be very pleased when they buy this.
