Hey guys,
I bought a set of the Ken Onion Shun knives off an woot sale about 15 years ago. It was a major step up from the stuff rattling around in my parents kitchen drawers. I made attempts to sharpen them over the years but sometimes successfully, some times not so successfully. As a semiserious amateur cook I thought upping my sharpening game would be a good endeavor. Hours of web search led me to this forum and the book “An Edge in the Kitchen.” I read that and now I’m hooked. I’m excited to be apart of this community, and hoping to learn more, and upgrade my shun’s to a nice set of custom knives over the next few years. Thanks all!
