Was prepping for a party the other day, went and wiped down my hf 240 felt a drap on the cloth and it had a bend and tear in it. Not a chip but looks more like the metal teared if that makes sense
Never seen this happen before and wondering if its a weak spot in the metal or what. This has been my favorite work go to for some time, the sizing and grind are absoultely perfect for me. I feel like ive just lost my best friend.

Not sure where to start or thay i even have the tools or skill to fix it. Real bummer for the holiday, was only cutting veggies and herbs with it, it was on a plastic board but havnt had an issue like this ever. Please let me know what you think and best way to go about it.
Thanks

Haven’t run into this before. May be worth reaching out to Joe at HF to see if he can fix it. Would likely give you the best shot at preserving the original profile and grind as much as possible.
