Hello everyone!
I´m a homecook who just loves to cook and preparing the food is a part of cooking.
I started to cook for my family and myself at a young age and we only had dull knives in the house.
I never cared much for the knives i used because the dull ones are all I had.
After I bought my first "real japanese" Knive a Shun.... a whole world opend up for me and got more and more into knives and shorty after realised that I probably wasted a lot of money for a knive made by Shun.
I´m always lurking on r/chefknives and admiring the great collections of some people there and found this community as a great way to talk and get more knowladge of the different makers and steal types a Knive can have.
Also I think this is a good place to buy used knives where I think I can trust the people and start my own collection.
Anyways I´m happy to be a part of this community!
