Hi Everyone!
Long time lurker, and finally decided to register an account and participate in this amazing community. A little bit about myself - i spent a year apprenticing at different Japanese restaurants several years ago which first sparked my interest in kitchen knives (my very first knife was a Gesshin Ginga 240mm). Now i'm mainly using knives at home and not in a professional environment anymore. Thanks and hope to contribute to this forum in whichever way possible.

Welcome! I worry that if I lived in Singapore, I would never cook, and just go eat the great food at hawker centers. Frog congee in Singapore, at a place that had live frogs waiting for the pot, was one of the great food experiences of my life.

My pop up has taken over a Michelin starred kitchen and cook with some of the best cooks in the world.. I have access to the best produce and ingredients in the country.

I'm disappointed every time I decide to cook myself food instead of going to a hawker center, hahaha.
