Hello from St. Augustine Augustine

Hey, I have two new Misen knives: chef's and pairing. I am looking for blade covers. I just received two Mercer Culinary guards that do NOT fit. I'm not interested in dropping $50 on the Misen block or a single wooden guard. Anyone have suggestions on guards that do fit?

I don't know anything about Misen, nor Mercer. Are they the same brand?

I'm having a hard time visualizing how a blade guard of any type would NOT fit a blade of any type - assuming the length was correct. Perhaps a picture?

As far as recs go, all of my non-saya blades are protected by Korin blade guard. They are listed under "knife accessories" on Korin's page.
