I fell into the sharpening rabbit hole about 4 years ago, and more recently, I've started looking into polishing with jnats. Naturally, I was drawn to this goldmine of information. Looking forward to learning from you all!
 
Welcome. What kinds of knives do you sharpen/polish?
 
As of now, the only Japanese knives I have are a 210mm white #2 gyuto, an old yanagiba, and a kiridashi, so my polishing experience is limited; however, I do regularly sharpen my western-style knives as well.

Have you seen the huge archive? Rather than using the site's search engine to approach it, I prefer Google's 'site:'-function. E.g. search
