A few weeks ago I have replaced my old slicing knife for the one you see on the right. And I absolutely love it. The main reason to register here at kkf.

Absolutely stunning the collections or knives some of you have got I like each knife to have its own character, so I can not even imagine having a set with all the same handles, scales finishing whatever. Therefore every collection/set is unique and special in its own way.

I'm still looking for a chef's knife, yet not missing it. Any recommendations?

fltr these are the knives I use daily.

Herder Mill potato knife (the wooden version handle tends to open up and gets dirty easily)
Victorinox tomato knife (got it in a set with a green limited edition Spartan) 💁‍♂️
2 Boning knives, 1 Victorinox Fibrox (heavy use) 🐓
BergHOFF ron santoku (freebie 2 y/ago never used and newly introduced to the kitchen counter block)
Santoku knife (bought in Fujisawa kitchen knife shop on some corner near the station, it has kanji on the obverse side I'll decipher later) 🗾🎌
Wüsthof Nakiri knife 4187/17cm clasic ikon (lovely grip!) 🥒 🌿🥬💗
PUMA Wildtoter (cervus elapus heft) 🦌🐇
Suncraft Clad AS-05 24cm meat knife (new and great to use!) 💖
