Mutsumi Hinoura 日野浦 睦, his father is Tsukasa Hinoura. I like their W2 steel line.

These are M Hinoura. Nice thick blades and cleaner fit up on the hitohira versions compared to the stock hinoura I've had.

I have one iron clad ku + one stainless clad ku coming up for sale. Both BNIB Offering each at $300 shipped. Welcomed to hit me up if you are interested

That’s really high praises, how does his work compare to other highly regarded white 2 makers like Mazaki and Munetoshi?

comparable with Mazaki, not have much experience with Munetoshi I have their boning but I haven't used it in a while.
Better than any Sakai made one.
I like Munetoshi over Mazaki myself. Mazaki's isn't bad though, just think Munetoshi is ever so slightly nitpickingly better.

Another white 2 that I heard good things about is Togashi’s work, Korin list their Suisin OEMed ones as 64-65Rc, up there with honyaki, wonder if that’s true… maybe we should have a white 2 shown down thread
