I am mainly focused on non-western made Honyaki at the moment but am open to some truly spicy offerings.

Unused preferred.

I have my eye on a Togashi x Yohei White #2 at Strata but wanted to survey my options here as well.

You should get it. I am a big fan. It is light though, it is something to consider if you like workhorse knives.

have you check on Kikuchiyo x Yohei (Shiro 3 Abura), which basically share similarities with Takada no Hamono Honyaki (Shiro 2 Mizu). hope you get a chance to hold it in your hand first

Any interest in the Togashi western custom? Ironwood by the same craftsman who does the Tanaka ironwood handles….
