It’s not about timing myself or anything like that, it’s just that sometimes I’m at a friend’s place doing their knives after dinner and she’s ready to go home hence the need for speed.
Last run, used the assembly-line method with a Naniwa Chosera 400 then King 1000/6000 – they live in the car. Next time I have advance notice I will bring SG220 to de-chip, SG500 to de-burr, then SG2000 to microbevel.
