A heartbreaking catch and release for me. This knife is such an awesome blend of refined and rustic, but the handle is just a touch too small for my massive hands (wrist to finger tip 8.75” and 4.75” across the palm, in case your worries you’d have the same issue) and when I shift grips is just a little uncomfy. Deserves to go to someone who it’ll be perfect for. I’ve used it for one home meal and gave it a finger stone touch up.

Bevels are stone ready. Really great taper and workhorse-light grind. Would definitely keep if not for the handle foible.

For what it’s worth for my fellow polishers, the wrought is fairly clean, but some figure is apparent as is. With a full progression of hard stones I’m sure it’d show some very cool grain. Or an etch would do it… The carbon migration is truly among the coolest I’ve seen as well.
