Alright, let's get some money back after being scammed from that Dalman.

The stone in question. A rarer hakka tomae. This is a mudbath of a stone, soft and reasonably fine. It says it's a level 1 on the softness, I might call it a 2 which I believe Evan at strata said too. You can feel the line in the middle, however as sold to me by strata, this does not matter if you load up some slurry which is the easiest thing in the world for this stone. Keeps this from being an $800 hakka.

Showing off a sample on my kiri. I am too annoyed right now to get a nice clean polish but hopefully it shows off the stone enough to give you an idea. If needed I can get better examples later.

Great thick misty finish. Estimated around 3kish grit?

Dimensions, 7.5in, 2.5inx by 1.25in. Stone is sealed and on a wooden base.

Let's say $325 shipped

Possible to get a more clear polishing example please?

Did you check the vid? I think that's pretty clear...not sure how I could show it off better. Let me know what specifically you are looking for and I can get it tonight
Yeah, I did. I find it is hard to often tell scratch grain when the blades are wet. How dramatic is it on the cladding? I assume it is scratchless on the core.

I'll get you a video of the finish with the kiri dry tonight (although I'm pretty sure the blade road is dry). I'm not sure it'll be scratchless since it's a mid grit stone, 2-3k. I'll get back to you tonight
