What used to take me months, literally, now takes me one night. In messy form with some tear out, but wow things go way faster when you’ve partially done it before.

Pine is also an absolute joke compared to hardwoods.

A prototype base for a @refcast special that really, really deserves one. Sits tight and level, hand tools only .
