Some people came up to me and asked about what stones can achieve a great polish, the first order of business is to make sure the edge surface is flattened well prepared, no curves no damps ( sometimes depending on knife shape). Then a good finishing stone would be helpful for the last step after the build up in scratch depth leading to it.
The following three stones are all great finishing stones
Just for some fun, I love to listen to music while sharpening, if you PM and guess correct what's my favorite artist I'll give you 50% off. Hints are rapper, lately released an album and American.
FYI shipping is like around 20USD
Nakayama tomae, 1182 grams, dimensions around 200-75-27 Suggest use with nagura 350USD
Ohira awasedo, 1178grams, dimensions around 207-73-28 350USD
Mizu Asagi kiita, 886grams, dimensions around 196- 76-22, sticked a wooden base on it 280USD
