SOLD Kawachi 240 w burnt chestnut handle

Purchased this one a month ago directly from JNS. With the handle upgrade it actually came to a little over $500. Arrived without an edge so I did 1k>4K initially and have touched it up once since on a 4K.
Cleaned off most patina but some remains.
Wouldn’t mind if it doesn’t sell, but you know the drill there’s always something else to chase after. The choil shot is crazy deceiving because this knife cuts more like a confident middle weight not delicate laser and the grind isn’t flat either.
$415 shipped sound good?

I’m going to upload some more pics shortly. The choil shot doesn’t really do the grind justice so I’m going to attempt different angles and lighting.
Also, as usual I’m open to trades for TF western handle stuff.

Okay here we go. These photos I think give a more accurate representation of how the knife performs over the basic choil shot. Perhaps it’s the polish or how the choil was eased…but some of the thickness towards the top choil just didn’t seem to be properly demonstrated in my earlier photo.
