Another difficult knife to part with. This prime example of a Kemadi Gyuto was liberated from the vaults of Marc Dixon. As is the case with Marc’s knives it’s a great daily user and a prime example of Kemadi’s work with Bulat steel. As with my other premium knives it’s on BST because I don’t see myself pursuing a collection of Kemadi’s work in the near future … even if availability made that possible with today’s evolving politics. The cladding is old (circa 1885) Russian railroad track iron. The white part of handle is reindeer antler, the wood Russian Hornbeam.
