I’ve used this knife perhaps a half dozen times , it’s as new and has the original edge. I replaced the rather small stock Octagonal handle with a larger D shaped handle from Yoshihiro knives. At the time of its purchase I also bought a honesuki and that’s been my go to Utility knife so I’ve decided to sell thedrawer queen Kikuichi. There are some light sharpening marks, they are as received from the factory

I have the gyuto from this line. It's a fun blingy knife and at 125 is a great budget option for someone who can't nessicarly afford higher end Damascus blades.
